In the beginning, Juno, the sky god, lived alone in his fortress on the sun. He was lonely, & desperately wanted some company in the sky. So he created a culture known as The Cloud Keepers. First, he took a dash of cloud matter to make them big and strong, but also kind and gentle. Then, he took a pinch of sun bams, to make them bright and insightful. Finally, he added just a bit of star dust so they could stay out at night, but also learn to fend for themselves with some common sense. The only downfall was that Juno went just a little to light on the star dust, as we'll soon find out. The Cloud People not only kept him company, but they also kept watch over the clouds, making sure that if any nasty tornadoes came to take the clouds, they would hide both the clouds and themselves. Juno was also good enough to give the Cloud People a hero, and his name was Baraci!

Baraci was good, and strong, and brave. He shot many a tornado without a care, using only three to five lightning bolts! He was about six feet tall, with a face that could charm any lady! Baraci, strangely though, was very modest about this. He mostly kept to himself, or maybe with a few friends all the time. Being in this fashion, Baraci never really got a big head about himself. This was a good thing, because if had it'd probably be too much to take, and the people would reject him. Baraci was modest, he he did want to stay in good favor with the Cloud People. They were good people, but could sometimes be very choosey as to whom they admired.

So it was that the Cloud People lived in peace for thousands of years, gathering food by riding huge, but very light, eagles. They would swoop down to the Earth and get food or other essential things. They also rode clouds, or surfed them , just for fun. While in the clouds the Cloud People wore big flowing robes, but while on Earth they disguided themselves as rigular humans. The cloud People lived normal lives for many years. Until one fateful day......

One day, way up in the clouds, the Cloud People were going about their daily lives, playing tug-of-war, eating cotton candy made from clouds, surfing the clouds, and just basically having a normal day. But out of nowhere, a huge storm came up. It was so big, it suddenly turned into and F5 tornado! The people cried out, "It's Fano, the biggest tornado ever made! He's here! He's here to take our clouds! Help us Baraci, help us."

Baraci got up to the edge of all the clouds and took out his best five quivers of lighting bolts. "Fano," he yelled. "I wait for you! Come and get me. But, I warn you, I will defend my people."

Fano charged himself up to full power. "Alright then!" Fano bellowed. "If it is a fight you want, then I shant deny your request." Fano & Baraci fought for nearly an hour. Baraci was winningwhen he suddenly liiked at his people. They were all huddling in the shadows, like little sheep hiding from nothing more than the thunder & lightening. "Help, " Baraci yelled. "I need your help to take Fano down."

"But, we can do nothing," the people shouted back. "We are just ordinary people!" they cried in dispair. " Did I ingnore you when you asked for help?" asked Baraci. "No," answered the people. "then why won't you help me?" aasked Baraci. "Belive in yourselves and we can take Fano down forever once and for all!"

The people liked the idea and slowly, haltingly, they got to their feet, grabbed lightening bolts and started to fight Fano! Bang, whack, and crack were the only sounds heard that day and night. It was the first time in Cloud People history that the people had actually believed enough to go fight for themselves! Baraci stayed with the cloud people for a few more years and then he left! When the Cloud People asked why he was leaving. He said that now they had learned to fight for themselves & he wasn't really needed. So, even though the people were sad, they knew their lesson and had learned it well. Baraci sailed off on a cloud way up into the sun to live with Juno, the sky god.
