Time: 30 minutes

Objective: Students will be able to find research about a specific topic using the internet.

This Lesson meets the Indiana Academic Standard (Grade 5) in Language Arts: Standard 2: Reading Comprehension

Materials needed: Computers (internet accessible)

Student Materials needed: paper, pencils

Procedure:

Now that students have an understanding on how to find information about their topics, let them continue to research, this time trying to find new web-sites. They may start at the Information Station and continue to look else where on the net.

Assessment: Assess students on their abilities to find informative sites about their topic on the net.
